Everybody Loves Raymond was hugely popular when it aired on CBS in the late 90s and early 00s. The sitcom was about an Italian American man and his family living in Long Island, NY, not far from his overbearing and stereotypically Italian parents and his older brother, still living at home with them.
The show covered the daily happening of Raymond's life as a sportswriter, along with his opinionated wife Debra and their three young children. His mother would often meddle in their life (and Ray would let her) and passively-aggressively insult Debra. And his brother would constantly remind everyone that Raymond was the favorite son. The show ended in 2005 after nine seasons. Where is everyone from the cast today?
10 Ray Romano (Ray Barone)
The star and title character from the show, Romano remains best known for this role, though he has since appeared in many other high-profile projects, including voicing Manny in Ice Age and its sequels and in a recurring role in Parenthood.
But his biggest roles since include the film The Big Sick, the Netflix epic crime film The Irishman, and the short-lived series Vinyl. He currently appears in the series Get Shorty, a role he has held since 2017.
9 Patricia Heaton (Debra Barone)
Heaton returned to the sitcom world quickly after Everybody Loves Raymond ending up in a major role in the sitcom The Middle, which went on for several seasons. Since 2019, she has appeared as the lead in CBS sitcom Carol's Second Act.
Heaton has three Emmys to her name for Everybody Loves Raymond and remains one of the most sought-after sitcom actors around.
8 Brad Garrett (Robert Barone)
Garrett, who played Ray's brother Robert, has starred in a number of sitcoms since this series ended, including How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) back in 2013, and most recently, I'm Dying Up Here. He currently appears as a main character in the sitcom Single Parents.
Garrett also continues to lend his signature deep voice to many animated characters, most recently as Cameo in Ralph Breaks the Internet and Eeyore in Christopher Robin. He also does stand-up comedy and works as a professional poker player.
7 Doris Roberts (Marie Barone)
Sadly, Roberts, who was a long-time actor since the 50s, passed away in 2016 at the age of 90. She had worked in television, movies, and theater, first gaining attention for her role in Remington Steele in the 80s before becoming Raymond's hilariously passive-aggressive and overbearing mother on this show.
She went on to appear in films like Madea's Witness Protection and as a guest on talk, variety, and game shows prior to her death.
6 Peter Boyle (Frank Barone)
Boyle predeceased his TV wife by a decade, sadly passing away not long after Everybody Loves Raymond wrapped up in 2006 at the age of 71.
Acting since the 70s, he gained attention for roles in films like Joe, The Candidate, and as Frankenstein's monster in Young Frankenstein. And, of course, as Ray's surly and stern yet loving dad Frank. His last acting job was in the film All Roads Lead Home, which ended with a dedication to the late actor.
5 Madylin Sweeten (Ally Barone)
Playing one of the three Barone children on the series (along with her real-life twin brothers), Sweeten has gone on to appear in small roles since the series ended.
Now 28, her most notable credits since 2005 include working as a sketch actor on the series TMI Hollywood, and executive producing and co-writing a 2014 short called Wedding Frisk. She most recently had minor roles in Grey's Anatomy and Lucifer.
4 Sawyer Sweeten (Geoffrey Barone)
Sadly, Sweeten committed suicide in 2015 at the age of 19, two weeks shy of turning 20. Romano called him a "wonderful and sweet kid to be around" and Heaton said he was a "funny and exceptionally bright young man."
He had not done any acting since the series ended but did have small roles at the same time the show was on, including in the movie Frank McKlusky, C.I. and the series Even Stevens.
3 Sullivan Sweeten (Michael Barone)
Not much is known about Sweeten, twin brother to the late Sawyer and younger brother to Madylin, who played his older sister on the show.
It is known, however, that Sullivan was living with his brother at the time of his death. It is presumed that he has moved out of the spotlight and works outside of acting, not surprising given the trauma he would have suffered following his brother's death.
2 Monica Horan (Amy MacDougall)
Playing Amy, Robert's on and off girlfriend throughout the series who eventually becomes his wife, Horan remains best known for this role. But fun fact: she ended up marrying the executive producer of the show in real life, Philip Rosenthal.
Since the show ended, she appeared in a guest role on the series Hot in Cleveland, as well as on her former co-star Heaton's show, The Middle. Her latest role was in an episode of Better Things.
1 Andy Kindler (Andy)
Playing Raymond's friend and fellow sportswriter on the show, Andy is a comedian like Romano in real life. He appeared regularly on Late Show with David Letterman and was a contributor on The Daily Show.
His most notable recent role is as the voice of Mort on the animated series Bob's Burgers. Most recently, he appeared in three episodes of I'm Dying Up Here and in episodes of Lady Dynamite, Another Period, and Portlandia.
