Sony’s live-action Uncharted film can’t catch a break in terms of getting off the ground. The film has notoriously gone through several director changes before finally settling on Venom‘s Reuben Fletcher. Tom Holland is still on board to play a young Nathan Drake with Mark Wahlberg set to play Sully.

On Monday, Sony came out and announced a ton of release date delays due to the coronavirus outbreak. In addition to Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Morbius moving to next year, Uncharted was pushed from March 2021 to October 2021. Uncharted was getting ready to start filming soon before the coronavirus started shutting down productions all around the world. Tom Holland is now back in the United Kingdom and recently appeared on Justin Bieber’s Instagram Live Q&A, where he spoke briefly on how close they were to starting:

“We showed up for our first day of shooting and they shut us down. We were in Berlin.”
