During a recent convention appearance, Ray Fisher discussed Cyborg and what Justice League was either unable or uninterested in delving into during its hacked down run time. In the video, Ray Fisher discusses his relationship with his father and how Justice League doesn’t really dig deep enough into the loss of his mother and how it additionally drives a wedge between the two.

From the look of things, Justice Leauge may have hacked down Cyborg’s character development quite a bit!
Justice Leauge, of course, was a very troubled production and was originally rumored to have a three hour run time. However, Justice League’s length was eventually reduced to around two hours, cutting out a great deal. It is rumored that, because of this reduced runtime, much of Cyborg’s story was cut down to make way for a faster-paced film. And it looks like we may have missed out on further relationship issues between Ray Fisher’s character and his father.
What do you all make of this statement? Could the relationship between Cyborg and his father regarding his mother have been something that was cut out of the film? Would you like to see Ray Fisher continue to play Cyborg? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
